OpenPanel Installation on Ubuntu 22.04 success, but setting Docker, install ModSecurity, create plan failed.

Update installation from LowEndSpirit within bash <(curl -sSL https://get.openpanel.co/downloads/fix.sh) make install ModSecurity working fine. docker still not found, create plan result is successfully but status is 8d8712a63a695f70bceb5316e8e9a87b330f303bb047c813b2e82c5d01dca0ea

in Plans, "Edit" function not working for all my plan create also for default plans from OpenPanel.
in Plans, "Delete" function is linking to the same "New Plan" function.

Additional experiences, after several hours passed.

When I logged out of my user account, and tried to re-login, OpenPanel asked for 2FA, it seemed like the 2FA function was active, I believe never giving permission to activate it, but I did open the 2FA page before.

Login to OpenAdmin also failed, even though I had never changed the password. I tried changing the password via opencli admin password admin xxx, result:
python3: can't open file '/usr/local/admin/core/users/hash.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Password for user 'admin' changed.

reyokh thank you so much for thia infoz that's the most feedback that we got from a single user. 🙌

Regarding the 2fa, clicking the 2fa button in top right activates it and opens the 2fa page, we can change that to only open you thr page abd wait fir user to activate it there in irder to avoid this scenario.

Regarding the OprnPanel > OpenAdnin page Im doing a complete rewrite, should be published in a few days after testing.

All other reports are unusual, but they all call the OpenCLI commands in background and that seams to be the main problem here.. I will setup a new server and test all that you mentioned. Will share a fix or update as soon as I can.

in OpenPanel user level, if you can to checking Users > User Manage > Update information
when "Save changes" without change any plan-type everything is fine, including change the current password.
when plan-type has changed, result error:

I think most of user will need upgrade from lower package / plan to higher package / plan

reyokh agreed, this issue with Docker represents a primary challenge we've faced, because docker does not allow resizing the container.

The workaround involves ensuring all plans offer the same disk space limit for Docker, but vary in the provided storage space. This method effectively mimics the desired outcome of plan upgrades.

For instance, consider two plans:

Plan A: Allocates 10GB for Docker's disk space and an additional 10GB for the user's home directory storage.
Plan B: Keeps the Docker disk space constant at 10GB (as Docker's limitations prevent alterations) and expands the user's storage to 50GB specifically for website content.

Upgrading from Plan A to B will successfully expand the user's available space.

As mentioned, Docker's restrictions are the root of this complication. We're exploring alternatives to bypass these limitations for more flexible future solutions. However, this represents our optimal approach under the current constraints.

Dear stefan
There is one more thing that I missed about this update process, not only the size, but also the difference between the Apache and Nginx web servers event with the same docker image size.

So this means that the user cannot change the cross web server type plan

Please note that the admin panel is still work in progress, so docker/backup/openadmin settings pages are still not finished, but should be in the next update.

reyokh yes, this feature isn't available. To implement it, we would require a script to convert vhost files between Nginx and Apache formats. However, I doubt there's significant demand for this functionality. I'll add it to github as an issue, though it's not scheduled for any upcoming releases.
