External DNS servers

I've been exploring the use of OpenPanel in a larger hosting cluster. Since true scaling isn't supported at the moment, deploying multiple servers seems to be the only option.

To get the most out of this setup, I'd like to use external master and slave DNS servers. However, after reviewing the scripts and the DNS clustering documentation, I'm not fully convinced this is currently feasible.

Are there any resources, instructions, or documentation on setting up fully external DNS servers? And is this configuration actually supported by OpenPanel?

pukjennekens no, there’s currently no way to use an external DNS provider from within the OpenPanel interface - for example, by setting Cloudflare nameservers and then managing DNS through the panel using the Cloudflare API.

Most users (myself included) either run DNS across multiple OpenPanel servers, or completely disable DNS on OpenPanel and use external DNS providers like DigitalOcean or Cloudflare instead.
