Hi
When I try to install Open Panel in Ubuntu Server 24.04, the installation fails with:
docker: failed to register layer: devicemapper: error running deviceSuspend dm_task_run failed
See 'docker run --help'.
Error: Installation failed! Failed to start docker container for MySQL.
If I try to reinstall OP, the installer exit with message: Error: You alredy have OpenPanel installed, but isen't true, becouse isn't impossible to run any opencli command in terminal.

  • 24.04 Is not yet supported, please use Ubuntu 22.04

Hello, what steps did you follow for the installation? I didn't have any problem at this level but it is true that I did not try to install version 0.1.7. Have you tried with version 0.1.6?

the server is a test vm in virtualbox 8gb, quad core and 240gb disk and for any installation tryed i have used an a fresh installation of ubuntu server with default option whitout preinstalled package. How i find a 0.1.6?

Hello, than'ks for answer. I finally solved it with version 22.04 but I didn't have time to write it. The problem is docker not supporting ubuntu 24.

    We added support for Ubuntu24 - but without disk quotas since device-mapper is still not working with docker on Ubuntu24. This basically means that all users have unlimited disk usage, so I recommend it only for VPS and private use.

    Debian12 and 11 are now also supported, with quotas.
