Can you change the forum?

These types of forums are very silly and not understandable at all. It would be much better if you switched to a standard forum structure, such as Xenforo, vBulletin, or Invision Community.

They already have import tools, so it's easy to switch from this system to others. I think we should do this while we're still at the beginning.

Slaweally I've never used any of those, and honestly I don’t want to start learning a new system right now: setting it up, handling migration, making sure all links stay intact, etc. I’m already overwhelmed with the day-to-day operations. I'll just put up a poll so users can decide what they prefer, and if indeed users prefer something else, later we can outsource the migration.

Flarum is simple and has a similar feel to github discussions

stefan Frankly, I am in favor of changing it while we are still at the beginning of the road. It will be much more difficult later on, but it is not impossible.

My opinion is definitely that it should be changed.
