When I create an email account, I need to save the password. Otherwise, if I change the password, I encounter issues managing the account, like getting a "Failed to fetch" error.
I’m not sure I fully understand. Could you provide a screenshot or details of the steps you’re taking so I can help troubleshoot the issue?
In Openpanel -> Email Account, when I click the Webmail button, which should take me to the webmail URL, I get a "Failed to fetch" error.
What is currently set as your webmail service? Could you share the output of opencli email-webmail?
When I try to install SOGo webmail using opencli email-webmail sogo, the terminal seems to hang, and webmail stops working in the panel. I'm not sure how to properly install SOGo if I previously had Roundcube set up.
Right now, only Roundcube works automatically through the GUI. Other webmail clients like SOGo require additional manual steps. You can refer to this link for more information: OpenMail Docker Compose setup.
I also need more information on how to set up the mail server. When I try to send an email, it gets blocked by Google.
Setting up email can be tricky, and we’re still working on improving the process. There isn't a full GUI for the email server setup yet, but documentation will be provided once the interface is complete.
